Tanzania Safari High Lights

Tanzania has become one of the most popular safari destinations, the best lodges often booking up nearly a year in advance. We have therefore reserved small allocations of rooms in some of the most popular resorts throughout 2009. Serena and Sopa Lodges offer international standards of comfort in some of the best locations for year round wildlife viewing. In addition to seeing some of the greatest concentration of wildlife on earth, you will also get to meet and learn about the colourful Maasai and their strong culture, as well as visiting the site of some of man’s earliest ancestors at Olduvai Gorge.

This safari offers an unforgettable journey into Northern Tanzania with accommodation in high quality safari lodges set in truly breathtaking locations. An extraordinary journey through contrasting landscapes with excellent opportunities for game viewing.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera whose steep sides form a natural enclosure for a wide variety of wildlife. An estimated 25,000 animals, including the ‘big five’ inhabit the interior of the crater.

Then onto the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest and best-known national park, with a massive concentration of migratory animals.

Lake Manyara National Park - This unusual park lies in the shadow of the Great Rift Valley whose reddish brown escarpment wall looms on the eastern horizon. The park is particularly known for its tree-climbing lions.
